One day at Alila Diwa Goa

I recently took a trip to Goa with my team and we got an opportunity to stay at the gorgeous property of Alila Diwa. If you follow me on Instagram then you probably must have seen my stories and posts about my stay, and I got so many of you asking me to share my experience from here, so here it is!

Allila Diwa is a Luxurious 5-star hotel in South Goa which is only 20 minutes away from the Goa Dabolim International Airport, set amid the lush paddy fields. This property is perfect for the ones who loves to experience nature along with a luxurious stay, brilliant hospitality, contemporary architecture and rich cultural traditions. Alila Diwa has 6-7 types of room to choose from according to your preference- Terrace room, Loft room, Family suite, etc to name a few.

Coming onto my experience, the best part about it was the infinity pool facing the paddy fields which was very calming. The pool had chairs and stools installed in shallow water so that you can lay down while sipping onto your drink, enjoying the sunset view and the cool breeze. Our room had 1 King size bed and 1 Day bed along with a mini bar, bathtub and not to miss, the balcony which had a bubble swing and a coffee table. They were kind enough to welcome me with a picture of me and my mom laying on the bed with a sweet note kept with it.

We ordered room service for some pasta, pak choy and fried rice which thankfully came in quickly and it was delicious.

We wanted to visit the beach and the staff told us that they provide a shuttle service to Gonsua beach which is 5 minutes away from the property. They also had a security guard at the beach who made sure all was good. We came back to the hotel and immediately made our way to the pool to enjoy the sunset and some down time. The hospitality team at the hotel very kindly set the float up for us, all ready to enjoy the sunset. We chilled there for a while and went for dinner at Spice Studio which was surrounded by a water body and the interior was so calming and pleasant with some dim lights, candles and soothing music playing in the background.

The perfect setting for a romantic dinner with your partner, accompanied by some delicious food. And the sound of the rain made the vibe so much nicer. After dinner, I was surprised to find out a hot bubble bath decorated with roses waiting for me in my room. No better way to end our stay, and trust me, we didn’t wanna leave!

Woke up the next morning to beautiful weather, not knowing that it was going to be our last sunny morning in Goa before the rains began, but I totally made the most of it before heading for breakfast. There’s breakfast all day, from 7 a.m to 7 p.m with great options for both vegetarian and non-vegetarian guests. I, being a vegetarian and total South Indian food lover, tried their south indian cuisine, poori bhaji, poha, iced coffee(of course) and some juices. They also had an entire cart filled with cornflakes, fruits and different types of cheese to select from. We were also given yummy eggless muffins and croissants. Nothing like good food to put you in a good mood!

I have to admit, I wasn’t too happy about checking out and leaving this beautiful place. But what does make me happy is knowing I’m definitely going back there soon!
Thank you for the lovely hospitality and for taking such good care of us, Alila Diwa! Apart from all that I shared with you, Alila Diwa also offers facilities like Movie screening (the mini theatre is absolutely adorable and super cozy), a Kids and Teens club, a Spa and Wifi Internet access throughout the resort. We had an absolutely lovely stay here and if you’re planning a trip to Goa soon, and looking to get away from the chaos, you definitely wanna stay here!
