I’ve been using a lot of new tech stuff lately, and thought that you guys might find reviews on some of my newly acquired products helpful, maybe from a fashion and lifestyle point of view. Today, I’m here to share my take on the Canon EOS 1300D, that I got my hands on last month, and have been playing around with ever since! I’m not a professional photographer, so I’m going to be sharing how the camera fits into my life as a blogger.
This is a perfect entry-level DSLR, for those that haven’t used one before but would love clicking pictures and experimenting with different light situations. Another plus is it’s price point. For the quality of pictures it provides, along with Wi-Fi & NFC helps to transfer images to your phone instantly, the camera is definitely a budget-friendly DSLR retailing at INR 26,000 approx. in the market right now.
The camera is lightweight, handy, and allows you to change lenses. The auto focus is great, and tracks the moving subject in the frame. I found it very handy for clicking pictures all the time during my day-to- day life and the camera is very user friendly.
The LCD display on the camera is quite sharp and has a brilliant colour output. It’s even visible in bright sunlight which is a big plus for somebody like me. The colours and sharpness of the pictures is actually very impressive, and works perfectly for me to use on social media or on the blog. The camera also comes with a Video Snapshot mode, that helps me record short clips that I can then edit together to create a full video. I did a couple montage shots on it while travelling, and love how they turned out! Aside from the usual selection of auto, semi-automatic and manual modes, the EOS 1300D’s mode dial also includes a video mode and a Flash Off mode, whereby the camera shoots automatically but won’t fire the flash; useful in museums or religious buildings.
I’ve been making good use of the Canon EOS 1300D, and as a blogger who is constantly on the go, clicking pictures along the way, the Wi-Fi feature allows me to instantly transfer content from the camera to my phone, so that I’m updating my social media almost in real-time. It fits into my lifestyle perfectly, despite the fact that I’m not very well versed with DSLRs, and the impressive battery life only makes it better. If you’ve been wanting to give photography a shot, or need a DSLR on a budget that actually is worth a lot more than the price, give the EOS 1300D a shot. You won’t regret it!
