Lux Fragrance Summit

I visited France for the first time last year, and turned 23 in the beautiful city of Paris, amidst some lovely influencers from different parts of the world, with Lux, a brand that I’ve grown up loving (read all about my Lux Fragrance Experience last year here and here).
That was the beginning of my journey as a Lux Ambassador, and little did I know that it would turn out to be the start of one of the best associations ever! This year, we embarked on a trip to the south of France, for the Lux Fragrance Summit, along with fellow Lux Ambassadors from all over the globe.

Our trip didn’t start off on the best note, because we missed a connecting flight from Munich to Marseille. But Lux gave us the loveliest lavender themed welcome at Le Pigonnet in Aix Ex Provence, followed by a delightful evening of introductions and drinks, and that just made everything so much better!

Day 2 in Provence began was entirely focused on fragrance. We made our way to the gorgeous Lux Chateau situated in the countryside, where we would be spending most of our time during the trip. We started off with a little introduction to fragrances and notes, after which we had a very fun lavender soap making session (I may have gotten a little excited and carried away during the process haha!).

Last year in France, Lux took us to the Givaudan perfume house, where we attempted to recreate Lux’s signature Magical Spell fragrance in form of a perfume (I still use the one I made, and actually get loads of compliments on it!). So when Givaudan organised another similar session this time around, I was completely overwhelmed with nostalgia! We recreated Lux’s new Lavender fragrance, and it was such a fun experience with the lab coats, glasses and lab equipment haha.

The chateau was so beautifully done up, with a pink, lavender and black room, so of course, I had to pose for pictures every chance I got!

Day 3 involved some really interesting styling, beauty and moodboard sessions, where we got the chance to express ourselves creatively, which I hadn’t done in quite a while! We then made our way to the lavender fields (more from that in the next post).

For our last day in Provence, we went back to the chateau for a fun crafting session. It kinda made me sad to say goodbye to that gorgeous place and all the lovely people we met on this trip. All in all, the 4 days I spent at the Lux Fragrance Summit were not only an absolute blast, but I also got to learn so much about fragrance, fashion and myself.
