Haircare is something that I’ve taken very lightly over the years, and after dealing with the repercussions of it, I’ve transformed into a haircare maniac! I make sure I’m using the right products on my hair, with the most nourishing ingredients. I attended the launch of Garnier’s new Ultra Blends a few weeks ago, which I was super excited about, because if there’s a haircare range that’s blended with love, I’ve gotta be all over it!
To start off, the range comes in 5 different blends, to suit various hair types and needs. At the launch, each of the blends were kept in their own little corners, with the cutest arrangements of their core ingredients around them. Not only did they make for some super fun flatlays and images, but also made it easier for me to understand what goes into each product.
Starting with my favourite, the Henna Blackberry blend instantly caught my eye because of it’s vibrant colour and packaging. Henna is known to be amazing at brightening and conditioning lifeless hair, which totally sounds like something my hair could use! Along with blackberries, this blend would be apt to infuse some life into dull hair.
The next one I moved on to, was the reconstructing blend, infused with Royal Jelly and Lavender. I was quite intrigued to know more about the royal jelly bit, and I soon found out that it’s a beehive extract, rich in amino acids and vitamins, that helps strengthen the hair.
The blend with 5 precious herbs consists of lemon, eucalyptus, henna, aloe and green tea. This blend is perfect to detoxify the hair and revitalize it, and I was pretty much sold the moment I read that it had green tea in it!
Nothing like a kick of protein to give our hair a boost. The Soy Milk and Almond blend seemed like nourishment and food for my hair in a bottle. It’s the perfect pick if your hair needs some deep nourishment.
Lastly, I came across the Mythic Olive blend. Olive oil and it’s hair nourishing properties certainly come as no news to us. This blend is extremely therapeutic for the hair, and restores it over time.
