My experience at Tata Housing’s Myst – The Snob Journal

My experience at Tata Housing’s Myst

My experience at Tata Housing’s Myst

Those of you that are here from my Instagram are probably aware of the recent trip I took to Himachal Pradesh, to spend 3 days at Myst, Tata Housing’s property of eco luxury residences in Kasauli. Since the trip, I’ve posted quite a few of the images that I took there, and I’ve received so many questions about the place, and whether it can be booked for a short vacay, so I’m writing this blog post to help clear your doubts and hopefully answer your questions about Myst and how you can experience it too!

So Myst is India’s first residential development designed using biophilic architecture. It’s built on a hill top mountain, and they say it brings you closer to nature, and I couldn’t agree with this more. Despite having a very short stay at the property, I had the best time being one on one with nature after really long. We get so involved in our busy city lives, and just a 2-3 day break to disconnect can make the world of a difference to your mental space. And it doesn’t get better than living in a luxury villa, with the breathtaking view of Kasauli Hills at 5,500 feet above sea level. Pure bliss.

Myst offers 3, 4 and 5 BHK luxury residential villas that you can invest in as a home away from home. It’s an exclusive gated community, designed by the world’s leading expert in sustainable architecture, Llewelyn Davies Yeang. Located on a high promontory, Myst blends contemporary design seamlessly with the unique ecology of the area, and also offers tonnes of exciting amenities. Every villa has it’s own private viewing decks,

Coming to my trip and experience there, we started our journey from Mumbai to Chandigarh, after which we had a 2 hour drive to the property. We arrived a little before sunset, and spent our evening relaxing at their restaurant with the gorgeous view of the hills. The first night was so special for me, because I went out in our villa’s balcony, and couldn’t believe how clear the sky was. It felt like there were a million stars above us, and I could totally get lost in the beauty of the starry sky. Never seen a view like this before, and just remembering it right now makes me want to go back. We woke up early the next morning, and enjoyed our morning cuppa with some delicious breakfast from their restaurant, all set up for us in our balcony. Definitely going on my list of one of my most memorable meals ever.

After exploring more of the property, the indoor pool and outdoor infinity pool (and a massive jacuzzi, might I add), the 20,000 sq ft Multi Level Club House, and the spa (that sauna is the best!), we also ate a lot of good food, and ended the evening with hot maggi at their viewing deck. Maggi in the hills is an absolute must, and the deck is an amazing spot for just catching up on your reading or listening to music while enjoying the sunset. And for our last night there, I just curled up by the faux fireplace (it was extremely warm and cozy) with my coffee and music for some much needed R&R before heading back to the grind.

There’s also lots to do in and around the property too, which truly makes Myst all the more exciting. Right from a brewery that’s been around for the longest time, to a fun ropeway cable ride if you’re looking for a little thrill on the way. There’s even a toy train ride that’s quite popular in Kasauli, but it was completely booked during the days of our stay, so you’ve gotta plan beforehand! If you’d like to know more about Myst, or how you can get yourself a villa at this gorgeous property, click here. Also, you can watch their short video about the property here for a more visual understanding. Have a lovely week ahead! x
