Hey hey all you lovely people!
Diwali is here, and it’s time to empty your wallets and splurge on gifts, clothes and so much more! I teamed up with Shoppers Stop for today’s post, to put together 3 looks from their AW’16 collection.
Look 1 is all about ethnic fusion. I love dressing up in traditional wear for the festive season, but sometimes it’s a lot of fun to mix up different colour combinations, and pair your kurtas with denims. Normally with a kurta like this one that I picked up from Haute Curry, I wouldn’t think of wearing it with blue jeans (got these from Life at Shoppers Stop), but I kinda liked the addition of a different hue of blue to the look, paired with tan heels and gold statement earrings. The kurta itself has a very fun and unique combination of colours and prints, that surprisingly work in complete harmony with each other.
For the second look, I wanted to opt for something semi formal, that you could totally wear to work or meetings, but also rock for a dinner or girl’s night out as well. This knit dress with windowpane checks from Fratini Woman at Shoppers Stop is one of the most comfortable outfits, and paired with simple strappy heels, it makes for a very simple and elegant look.
I saved my favourite for the last, and opted for a very casual outfit for the third look. You know my love for layering, and I wanted to wear something that you’d find me wearing on a daily basis. I’m very partial to this outfit because a longline white shirt layered over a basic crop top and denim shorts, completed with my favourite sneakers is literally my go-to everyday look. I got all three pieces from Life.
I hope you guys liked the outfits, and I’d love to know which one is your favourite. Shoppers Stop’s AW collection has some really interesting pieces for all occasions, be it festive, casual, party or workwear, and I’d definitely recommend checking the range out if your wardrobe needs a few new additions!
