Fashion repeats itself. Every time I find a new trend that has been a fad in the past become a rage all over again, this quote crosses my mind. And I think that there is something very exciting about past trends making a comeback, since they’re always expressed differently, and result in a more fun and fresh version of their existing inspiration.
The renaissance trend, that draws it’s inspiration right from the history and culture of fashion; has been doing rounds of the runways, and has been quite talked about off-late. As seen on the runways of Elie Saab and Dolce & Gabbana; the ancient renaissance trend is all about dark summer blooms and graphics right now. Vero Moda
‘s latest collection derives it’s inspiration from this very runway trend, in a form of everyday wearable fashion.
I opted for a graphic printed grey tee teamed with a pair of ripped denims with floral lace detailing. I love how the dark, arty print, paired with the denims creates a dynamic summer look that not only keeps up with the trends, but is super comfortable and fun.
