Pause – The Snob Journal

Ever since 2016 began, I’ve been so drowned in work, that I haven’t been able to be as active over here or on YouTube as I’d like. February is coming to an end, and time seems to be flying way too fast when I’m so occupied! Not that I’m complaining, I love how busy I am, and I’d never wish it to be any other way. But sometimes, you miss having some time to yourself.

And this post, is mainly about that. It’s just me, taking 10 minutes out to enjoy write. I find things like blogging, painting my nails, or even organising my makeup to be very therapeutic, and I really look forward to them. I also bought myself a colouring book a couple of months ago (you’ll see it in my February favourites, if I manage to get that up in time haha).
I don’t have much of a motive behind this post, except that I really liked the way my outfit created a contrast with the background in the images below, and I wanted to share them with you here. I’ve been pretty obsessed with Missa More for almost 2 years now, and I absolutely love this jacket that I spotted on their website recently. Although you can’t tell, I paired it with denim shorts and a crop top here. Added my favourite booties to complete the look, and I was good to go!

Good locations can seriously add such interesting dimensions to blog posts! Love the contrast here, too!
I feel the same way about blogging — I often get bogged down with work (and not complaining about it either) but I love spending an hour each day reading my favorite blogs…when I get a couple extra hours, I try to write my own posts. It is definitely therapeutic!
