Luminesce – The Snob Journal

I’m sure most of us have witnessed the hubbub of weddings this season. One can evidently see the numerous different clothing and jewellery trends doing the rounds right now, and I personally tend to feel a little lost sometimes. I’ve attended and will be attending a few weddings myself, and each of these weddings has a different vibe and style to them, and although I love it all, spotting one particular trend I like can be a little difficult.

Since I’ve always loved weddings, and always wondered what I’d want to look like at my own wedding, or that of someone very very close to me, I opted for that route for this post. Being one of India’s most sought after names in the world of jewellery for to-be brides, TBZ The Original has pretty much aced it when it comes to craftsmanship and design.
I dropped by their new destination store on Turner Road, Bandra a couple of weeks ago, and the ambience of the store immediately caught my eye before I even got a chance to look at the jewellery itself! With a very calm, luxurious feel to it, the store has a vibe that reflects a sense of modern elegance while still maintaining TBZ’s age-old values. All the pieces at this particular store stand out in terms of worksmanship and design, since each piece of jewellery is made exclusively by an extremely skilled in-house team. To show you the beauty of the store, and it’s stunning jewellery, we shot two looks at the store itself, featuring some of my favourite pieces, that I’d absolutely love to see on a bride!

Jewellery – TBZ The Original; Outfit – Anita Dongre; on my lips – Lakme Peony Goal
I don’t think this look requires much of a description, since the jewellery and outfit pretty much do all the talking themselves. I went for a lovely set of earrings and a necklace to match, along with a few bracelets and a ring. The pieces have some remarkable intricate kundan, pearl and emerald and pearl work set in gold. Even though they make for perfect wedding pieces, they are extremely versatile and could be paired differently for various other occasions.

Jewellery – TBZ The Original; dress – AND; shoes – Forever21; on my lips – Mac Mehr
Playing to the modern TBZ aesthetics this time, I opted for a cocktail look. I’d been eyeing the gorgeous diamonds at the destination store the entire time I was there, so I knew I had to share them with you too! I went for some emerald details this time round as well. The intricate layering and perfect setting of the diamonds made this set so hard to resist!

The new TBZ store in Bandra is clearly a class apart, and can be your perfect one stop shop for all wedding jewellery! I personally love how the pieces are so detail-oriented and elegant, and there’s bound to be something for everyone. The next time you find yourself on the lookout for some beautiful one-of-a-kind jewellery, whatever be the occasion, I’m sure you now know where to look!
