I am so stoked for today’s post, because I’ve been planning this for super long, and it’s FINALLY happening! I’ve wanted to start a ‘his and hers’ series on the blog for as long as I can remember, but something or the other kept getting in the way. But the time has come at last.
You’ve seen Siddhanth a lot on my social media platforms, especially Instagram, but this is the first time you’re seeing him on the blog, and I hope you enjoy the post. I guess I was waiting for the right time, and now that Topshop and Topman are finally in India on Jabong, this seemed like the perfect time to start this series.
When it comes to high street brands, I can safely say that Topshop has been one of my absolute favourites, and I couldn’t be happier that we finally have access to their pieces on Jabong! We went for a slightly formal/date night option for this post. Talking about Siddhanth’s outfit first, we wanted to go with easy layers because it’s time for the weather to get a little chilly (hopefully soon) and layering a light shirt over a basic tee would totally keep it casual yet not so casual, if you know what I mean. I’m anyway a huge fan of checked shirts, and the addition of an ombre pretty much sealed the deal for this look. With a white tee and black jeans, the look didn’t need much more.
Now to my look, I fell in love with this mustard skirt, not just because of the colour, but the style was unlike something I’d worn on the blog before, and it was super comfortable as well. I paired it with a white camisole, and some blue heels to bring in some contrast, and then completed the look with a silver necklace.
I hope you guys enjoyed this post as much as we enjoyed working on it. We’ve got more coming in this series, so stay tuned! And don’t forget to check out Topshop
