With wedding season round the corner, I have a long list of weddings to attend. And somehow I’m usually on the lookout for Indian outfits, and tend to overlook the cocktail event, given that my wardrobe is usually overflowing with dresses.
However, when it comes to cocktail dresses, I literally have like 2 in my wardrobe, which clearly doesn’t leave me in the best place. And given my super hectic schedule, I find it nearly impossible to take the time out and find the perfect dress in a limited amount of time.
But hey, we’ve got Flyrobe to save the day now, don’t we? In case you’re unaware of what Flyrobe does, read my last post here. I logged onto Flyrobe and went through their collection of formal outfits, only to find the perfect dress that literally ticked all the right boxes! I was thrilled to find this lovely Asos maxi in a colour that is so different from what you usually see me in, which was a welcome change. Given that it would have actually cost me over 5000, and I rented it for 4 days at just 600, I couldn’t be happier. To add to that, the cutout detail on the torso, and the back of the dress just added a bit of edge. All in all, it fit like a dream, so I had no complaints at all! I kept my accessories simple, with just a pair of earrings, as to not draw attention away from the dress.
I’d never have imagined being comfortable with the idea of renting an ensemble, but Flyrobe is clearly making me rethink that. Rent any outfit with the click of a button, and find it at your doorstep within 3 hours!
