I hope you had a lovely weekend. I was supposed to be taking a few days off from work, but here I am, working as usual. Not complaining though. Nothing makes my Monday like getting back to work!
So I went onto www.nykaa.com and bought a couple of things, and as promised, I’m sharing my haul with you today! In my opinion, one of the best parts about Nykaa is that you can get access to most of your favourite Indian makeup brands, along with many International brands that you cannot get your hands on in India.
I got a couple of products that caught my eye, the first being the Lotus Colorkick Curved Liquid Eyeliner. I’ve been an avid user of the Maybelline Colossal Liquid Eyeliner, and you have also heard me go on and on about L’oreal’s Super Liner for a while now. But the entire concept of this eyeliner seemed very interesting, and I thought I’ll give it a go.
Now I’ve never tried any MUA (MakeUp Academy) products, and their baked eyeshadow trio looked so tempting. I’m a huge huge fan of baked blushes, so I could only assume that baked eyeshadows would be as good if not better. I got their MUA Baked Merged Trio Eyeshadow in Emotions, because I’m currently on the lookout for warmer toned eyehadows. On swatching the eyeshadows, I was pretty impressed by the pigmentation, so I’m super excited to try them out! The next MUA product I got is a Matte lipstick in the shade Pouty Pink. I’ve always preferred matte lipsticks over any others, and pinks are usually my go-to colours on days when I just don’t want to give much thought to my makeup.
Although I’ve heard people rave about the Maybelline Hyper Curl mascara, I’ve never tried it myself, so I decided to order the easy wash version, because I’m not a huge fan of waterproof mascaras, unless I need them on for a longer period of time.
Rimmel is one of my favourite drugstore brands. But since I’d never tried any Rimmel blushes, I got their 3 in 1 blush in the shade 002 Summer Fever.
Now to the last product, I have recently got into Lakme products after a friend spoke very highly of them. While browsing through Lakme’s stuff on Nykaa, I came across the Absolute Sculpt Matte lipstick and took an instant liking to the shade. I love the occasional mauve, and Mauve Fix seems almost perfect for the coming months.
So that was my little Nykaa haul, and I’ll soon be sharing my experience with these products with you!
P.S. Nykaa has their #TheNudeEdit week on, and you can avail 15% off on a huge collection of their products!
