Outfit – Palanquine; Necklace – Borrowed from mom; Bangles – Manish Market; On my lips – Mac Velvet Teddy
You may have noticed that this website somewhat lacks many ethnic outfit posts, which is something I intend to make up for gradually, starting today.
If you’ve been an avid reader of my blog or happen to follow me on Instagram, you’re probably well aware of my affinity with pink and purple hues. However, the colour palette of this post was completely unintentional, not like I’m complaining about that though. I visited Sandhya Shah’s cute little boutique, Palanquine, last week. It’s located at King’s Circle in Matunga. Her designs are super impressive with a mix of bright hues and prints, and a huge variety of styles.
Something about this ensemble just called out to me, and although I tried on some really pretty outfits, I kept coming back to this. We shot this look in the early am yesterday outside this beautiful building in Cuffe Parade. We had to wake up at 4 am, and make sure to reach the location by 6 to avoid the constant buzz of people and cars. But all in all, the effort paid off because I am super happy with the pictures! I hope you enjoy them as much as we enjoyed shooting!
Also, if you’re in Mumbai and are looking for the ideal ethnic outfit, go and take a look at Palanquine‘s designs, I’m sure you’ll find something that works for you.
Sending tonnes of love your way! x
