5 Shades of Quirky – The Typewriter Dress

Dress – www.thequirkbox.com; Jacket – Pax in Colaba; Bag – Primark (old); Shoes – random boutique on Waterfield Road (Bandra)
I write today’s post eagerly awaiting the start of spring break. I had my last submission of this term yesterday, and I cannot tell you guys how relieved I am!

Today I’m sharing look 4 out of my 5 looks with Quirk Box. As part of the artwork of Quirk Box’s new collection, the vintage vibe of this typewriter print caught my eye. And of course, Quirk Box knows how to make everything fun, even if it’s typewriters! For me, this dress would be perfect for those days when I have to run errands and/or attend meetings. One looks for something comfortable and stylish for such days, and nothing beats a dress layered with a thin jacket, especially with summer on the way!
Given the colours in the print and the contrast of the jacket, I opted for a nude bag and pumps to let the rest of the look stand out. With the glasses on, this pretty much sums up my perfect idea of an outfit to wear on a busy work day.
As always, let me know what you think of this look in the comments below! What do you prefer to wear on a busy day?

As a person with absolutely no grooming quotient myself, I have to say I was much impressed by this post. Without going into details of how good you look in the outfit, the dressing sense deserves a hats off – the dress looks lovely in itself, and your use of nude bag and pumps do let the salient features of the dress stand out. The nerd glasses seemed like icing on the cake. Great job, and good going. 🙂
