Dress – Quirk Box; Heels, Sunglasses, Ring – Forever 21; Bag – Colaba; On my nails – China Glaze Tempest; On my lips – Mac Please Me
As some of you may know, I’m back in London. Bombay was so amazing. Not only did I get to see my friends and family, I was so active on the blog and had the opportunity to share some exciting collaborations with you guys, and I also had the chance to meet so many of you lovely readers, which was pretty cool! My college has begun, so I’m back to the usual classes, assignments, basically the whole works. Given that and the freezing weather, it may be extremely difficult to shoot here very often. I will try though. Since I anyway anticipated this, I shot a couple of looks back home so that I can keep the blog going even while I’m here.
Quirk Box is a brand that’s known for it’s uniqueness. Their collection has always stood out because of it’s fun designs and bright colours. Every time I went through their collection, I would always think of how I could incorporate such designs into my everyday life. And so for the next few weeks, I’ll be sharing a total of 5 different looks with stuff from their Gold and regular collection, showing you 5 ways I’d style Quirk Box with other items from my wardrobe.
For the first look, I chose this shift dress. I think shift dresses are extremely versatile. You could dress them up or down depending on the occasion, and they’re a good addition to your closet if you don’t have one. I decided to keep the rest of the look very basic, and let the dress do all the talking. I chose a pair of cuffed nude heels, a basic black bag and sunglasses. I felt like the look was missing a metallic edge to it, which is why I added this cheetah ring to complete the look. While styling it, I had something like a brunch or lunch outfit in mind, but I think this would be really nice to wear to a dinner date or even to a movie if you ditched the heels. Where do you think you can wear this outfit? Let me know what you think in the comments below!
