Earthy Vibes

Earthy Vibes
Top – Redress, Skirt – Forever 21, Shoes – New Look, Sunglasses & Bracelet – The Snob Shop, Earrings – Asos

I don’t know whether this happens with any of you or maybe it’s just me, but whenever I have a day off work or it’s the weekend, I only want to wear skirts or dresses. And almost always, I end up wearing a maxi.

I’ve noticed that many a time when I put together a look in a hurry, it turns out to be unexpectedly nice. And sometimes even better than many of my pre planned outfits. I wore this look last Sunday. It was raining on and off, and so I chose to wear a midi skirt because managing a maxi would be a big task! I really liked how the whole outfit looked, so I decided to do an impromptu shoot to share the look. The tones of the look were a little earthy, so I went with a bold lip for a pop of colour. I’m anyway hopelessly addicted to this lipstick off late!

Coming to this week’s giveaway, I’m giving a gift voucher worth INR 2500 from The Snob Shop, and a pair of bandage leggings, which are Snob’s bestselling product! To win, follow me on Instagram and Twitter, and you’ll find what you gotta do there! Giveaway ends on Thursday (21st August), and the winner will be announced the next day on my Facebook page. Hope you’re having a wonderful Sunday!

Hey, I got the same skirt in a shade of like turquoise blue and shorter in length and I'm too fat to wear crop tops. Can you please suggest me something else to pair up the skirt with?

    • August 19, 2014 / 1:15 pm

Hi. You can wear with a button up shirt in a neutral colour like maybe white or grey or even black, or with a solid coloured t shirt in similar shades. You can also wear it with a printed top to add vibrance to the look! Hope this helps 🙂

Hi! I absolutely love your style, hair and makeup! If you don't mind me asking, what's your foundation shade at mac? Also, could you suggest a few nude mac lipsticks that would suit an NC 40 skin tone? Is this your natural hair or do you blow dry/straighten it? And last but not the least, what's your workout and diet regime lol ? Sorry for the bombard of questions but you're really pretty!!

    • August 21, 2014 / 5:51 am

Hi there. Thanks 🙂 I use my Mac foundations in NW25 or NC30. My 2 favourite nude lipsticks from Mac are Kinda Sexy and Shy Girl. Give them a try 🙂 My hair in most of my pictures is natural, although I may straighten or blow dry occasionally. Honestly, I work out maybe once in two weeks, I'm really lazy! And I don't follow any diet. I just have a green smoothie every morning 🙂

Hey! Could you please tell us names of boutiques and stalls etc at Bandra, lokhandwala and causeway where you shop? I've been to these places a billion times but never end up finding half the stuff you do. Some shopping tips for shopping at these places please lol.

    • August 21, 2014 / 5:52 am

Hi. In Bandra, go to Big C, Redress, Outfits and all those small boutiques on Waterfield Road. In Colaba, I only shop at street stalls and at Pax, so I just have to rummage through a whole lot of stuff. 😛
